It is a night to be remembered for the many football fans in Kedah – the first ever win at home in the 2010 Malaysian Super League. Though that T-Team tussling back with a heavy fight, they only managed to acquire 1 out of 4 goals being recorded tonight. Kedah won against T-Team at 3-1.

After the first goal by Azlan Ismail, one could practically feel the spirit bloomed up to a different level, something that haven’t been felt for a long time in that very home ground, Stadium Darulaman. The 2nd goal being contributed by Mohd Faizal Abu Bakar whilst the 3rd one … well .. it’s again Azlan Ismail :D

Note: There’s a mistake in the statement above. Perhaps I was updating in a sleepy state. The correct goal sequence was first by Mohd Faizal Abu Bakar. The 2nd and the 3rd goal was by Azlan Ismail. Sorry for the mistake and thank you to those who were correcting me in the comments :-)

Kedah, congratulations :-)

Many expected Kedah to win against Johor FC tonight at Darulaman Stadium. However, Johor FC managed to hoist a goal at the last of all minutes. Having defeated at 0-1 to Johor FC (yet another lost after Perlis) should be giving a signal or two to the coaching/management of the team of what’s what to happen in the next super league round.

Agree as most of us needed to, there’s no definite formula to steer a football team, hence it’s a team-based sport. Let alone standard operating procedure. Though that the injury list shrinks upon the start of the season (except for Ahmad Fauzi Saari, Victor Andrag, Farizal Rozali, Wan Zaim, Khyril Muhymeen, Al Hafiz and Fazliata for a card in PERR), Kedah seems to be pondering upon a positive chemistry reaction within the squad. And let’s not talk about the national jewels that came back to serve their very state – many commented that they were drowning in their own breaths.

I’m not the best person to scribe about that very match. To those who have your say upon this, please do so in the comment box. Nonetheless, what I know for sure is that Kedah has got buck up, and she has got to buck up … FAST!

I’ve been getting a lot of request ever since the erection of the preview “coming soon” KFA website. So, here comes this entry, with a little candy for your pleasure.

Sorry for the late update. Kedah managed to secure victory at 3-1 with Pahang on last night’s match. The goals were scored by Mohd Faizal Abu Bakar, Shahrul Nizam Mustapa and Khyril Muhymeen Zambri respectively. All of the goals were done in the first half.

I brought a so called apprentice. His name is Hanif Nazri. At the age of 17, he managed to pull some of the best portraitures I’ve seen. I thought of giving him extra exposures on sports photography by putting him into the field in the 2nd half. Of course, I can’t be expecting good results all the way across the frames as it was his first time doing sports. However, it does looked promising.

About an hour ago, KFA had a mini contract signing ceremony (err .. not quite .. but yeah, a ceremony) between some of the players. I can’t say much about the detail, but to the many of the fans out there, happily all I can say is that all of them have been locked for at least end of next year.

Enjoy the photos
