Both the FAM and State Football Association (SFA) should be organizationally structured and financially liquidated. People who’re involved in any organization should be willing to work hard finding ways to improve the said organization from time to time. Bukan setakat to fill in a seat or two and then do nothing about it. If one was to sit a seat, then expect things to run silky smooth before his very eyes, I can instead place my well behaved cat on that very seat – sama jaa .. takyah buat apa .. duduk diam2 ja tak gaduh nak buat apa .. tunggu masa miau lah mintak makan … or at least to get attention ..

It is now a fashion to be in a football association to be appreciated by the many admiring eyes. However, do not be fooled. Those admiring eyes are ready to scrutinize and screw you up and down your every little movement if even one of your steps is faulty.

Still remember a number of non-paying-salary episodes with Perak and Penang in 2008? How about the current struggle with Perlis? I still remember that Steve Darby has got to fork out his very own money to pay his players from month to month just to grasp some fighting spirit left with them for the remaining matches. Why? Why would the SFA not being responsible enough to adhere to such simple guideline as how to manage a professional football institution? I would rather suggest those personnel from such problematic SFAs refrain from busily sticking their noses into competing for the seats at FAM. If you have problem in your own backyard, what makes you think you could help to improve Malaysia’s primera football body?

Until those high up in the hierarchy understand that football is no longer a mere game, but now an industry, football in Malaysia will be as football in Malaysia as it is. The economics of football is very simple. You have a commanding population, seed patriotism among them; in return they’d pour in their support for you. How to get their support? Show them what they belong to. Show them their ultimate warriors that will be fighting for the very soil they come from and battle their hearts out for them.

But no, it didn’t turn out that way, not even slightly. When the FA Cup Finale 2010 between Negeri Sembilan and Kedah was held the other day, most of the FAM personnel are busy attending to the VIPs. The VIPs that are not necessarily into football nor they’ve contributed much to the industry. They’re there for just being there. While they’re handsomely greeted by FAM ushers, there were waves of crowd who came so far from the places we’ve not heard about just to support their beloved team. They paid RM20 each for entrance. RM1 for a drink, RM3 for a burger. Or course, nothing comes close to what the VIPs are enjoying in the VIP Lounge, yet they don’t even fork out a single cent.

When it comes to some light entertainment before kickoff, only the VIPs can enjoy it. Why? Because all the audio/visual devices that has put into place is directed to the VIP stand. So the dumb fan don’t even get the slightest idea what’s the entertainment all about. If you wanna put up a number or two, in such a place, dance the whole damn stadium. Have you not watch how recent World Cup was organized? There were pretty ladies dancing for everyone’s eye. They dance gracefully entertaining the whole stadium, not only to the damn VIP stand.

Enough is enough already, whoever get to the seats are to make sure Malaysia is to be somewhere and be somewhere fast. It’s time to change that rotting constitution. Open criticism must be allowed to catapult the organization into a better future. Why should you be afraid of criticism if you’re honest in whatever you’re doing? I cannot imagine those in FAM being honest, like really HONEST. Politicians in a sports based institution? Come on! Most of them are there for the sake of themselves. Everybody knows this and yet for them, it’s still delicious to lick the hairy balls of aristocracy.

Still remember Dato’ Ahmad Basri Akil? He did more for nation’s football than one would ever know. He was banned by the so called FAM committee for criticizing. Soon after, he had to die for our nation’s football dream to live.

I know I’m a nobody in within the state football environment, but in the wake of many unpleasant events recently, I felt called to dissect and examine the current severe situation in the state-wide football scene.

When victories are procured by the team, there’s definitely nothing seen as weakness for the state mothership of football, the KFA. However, the plummeting of team to such level such as what we’re currently experiencing, right about now, generally, it is seen as the players and coaches that are to be blamed. Moreover with the advancement of information technology; email, social networks (facebook, myspace, tagged, friendster, etc) and public forums, fans nationwide can now have direct access to mock, to insult and to taunt coaches and players without limit and boundary.

Prior to the acceptance of AY (Ahmad Yusuf) becoming the chief coach of Kedah, it is quite known that RMD (Radhi Mat Din) and AS (Ahmad Sabri) are good friends of his. Persuasion came strong as he is an A license holder. RMD and AS may put words to help AY in building his new profile in Kedah as how they’ve been working and experiencing together with Azraai Khor in the yesteryears.

Men can only plan and plot while high above the supreme power of Allah SWT shall decide how it ends. The aim of RMD and AS was diverted way beyond target. The flying little canary plunged to the ground, badly wounded. Naturally, the attention for responsibility is directed primarily at AY by fans nationwide.

In all honesty, AY should not be completely blamed. So goes to RMD, AS, and the players. Nonetheless, there’s somewhat like a loophole whereby KFA Council and KFA EXCO didn’t act speedy enough to mend and fix the situation.

The conferment of coaches and players is done by the KFA Council and the KFA EXCO in accordance to KFA’s rules and regulation. This means both KFA Council and KFA EXCO are without question COMPLETELY responsible to the whole Kedah football team.

Prior to the double treble years, very much the years under the observation and advisory of the late Dato’ Ahmad Basri Akil, a special committee being assembled called The Malaysian Football League Management Committee (Jawatankuasa Pengurusan Bolasepak Liga Malaysia) that is responsible for the performance and accomplishment in totality of the team. The committee was erected and put up with these 8 personnel:

  • 1 Assistant President
  • 3 Vice Presidents
  • 1 Honorary Secretary
  • 1 Honorary Treasurer
  • 1 Technical Director
  • 1 Team Manager

The KFA Honorary Secretary functions as the secretary for the committee. The committee shall meet after each match or at least every fortnight for post mortems regardless win, lose or draw. The team manager will be asked to produce extensive reports with the help from the panel of coaches. With such workflow, all parties – KFA EXCO and team management will always be vigilant and attentive to elements of team performance and welfare of players.

Here, when the team performance is at stake, taking into consideration of the extensive report presented by the team manager and hearing out to other committee members, a judgment shall be passed whether or not to rest, dismiss, fine or even end the contract of any of the team component regardless of coaches or players. Other sentences shall also be ruled should the committee see fit.

I cannot remember when was the last the committee has been called for a meet. Like I said earlier, I’m a nobody in the scene. Maybe I should not know, at all. One can always call KFA up and verify. Then again, if they don’t meet, or the committee has been purged, there’ll be a vacuum that shall split and separate both administration and team management of KFA. When such separation happens, there will be no understanding and harmony between the said parties so in the end, finger pointing and blaming sprees break out when declining of performance publicly witnessed at large.

I’m not attributing nor condemning any of the KFA administration or management personnel. However, things need to be done and it need to be done fast in order to get things on track again. Up till now, there’s not even a press statement being made to calm the situation. With demonstration being held twice back to back at the previous 2 matches, the uproar of football fans and spectators are like somewhat uncontrollable.

With the silent treatment from both KFA administration and management, it will kill the leftover fighting spirit that is still somewhere in the souls of both coaches and players. If it’s true that KFA has put out this check and balance practices that they used to perform, undeniably, the coaches and players shall prolong to be victims in such state of affairs. THEY WILL BE MOCKED, BE TAUNTED AND INSULT WITH BLASPHEMY REMARKS THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE SEASON!

Last night, Kedah managed to only parallel its position with ATM in her very own home ground, Stadium Darulaman. Ever since the defeat with Selangor in Stadium Shah Alam at 0-4, the heat amongst fan has been building to wonder why Kedah has been boarding into such position.

The biggest question is … who to blame? Then again, should there be any blaming at all? The night ended with a so called answer I wasn’t really expecting – fans were demonstrating in the stadium façade area with a bunting that says “PECAT A. YUSUF, KFA NAK TUNGGU LAGI”.

Truth to be told, the arrival of Ahmad Yusof to Kedah was greeted with an injury list by KFA. At that point in time, everyone was in the midst of expecting a “true striker” imported from somewhere. Out of all those enthusiasm, came Azlan Ismail and Zamri Chin to fill in that position. The players were then tested, everyone were somewhat delighted with the initial result.

Then there was a huge loud ‘pop’ heard in the Stadium Shah Alam on a friendly match. It was identified as a knee injury of Ahmad Fauzi Saari. Then a macro scale of investigation told it was actually an anterior cruciate ligament or better known as ACL amongst fellow athletes, a fearful sort of injury in the history of any professional athlete on the surface of earth. And yes, the normal way to identify this injury is a huge loud ‘pop’. It’ll need approximately 6 months to recover after an operation, of which, at this point, Khyril Muhymeen is doing his time. (It is feared that Saramsak Kram is also having this injury as I’m writing due to the sound heard at last night’s match)

The middle field was left with Shahrul Nizam Mustapa giving an endless headache to the coaches (of which at last night’s match, he suffered a groin injury). The selection process started right away scooping and filtering out kids from the Reserve (President) Team. Mohd Arfan came to the rescue then after (oh wait, now he’s serving some card time).

It’s a normal chemistry issue when inducing new players into a team of such number. However, it’s hard to deal with an on-off situation every now and then. The cards flying spree by referees and the injuries are not the sort of things which are plottable. And yes, we do have the-all-rounder sort of player which can play in any so-called position. The way I see coaches have these kinds of players in Malaysia is that, they’re used as scape goats. They’ll be in the substitute bench until needed. Never they’ll be a true position holder in a team.

Enough of coaches and players. Then how about managers? Administrators? Organizational policy? Fans?

Has the manager managed the team well at this moment?

Has the administrators been doing their best to assist in the running of the whole organizational programme?

Has the organizational policy being very friendly to their contracted players?

Have the fans done their part of supporting? Let it be victory or defeat?

Has anyone been screwing at all?

I was and am very upset with comments from most of the national printed media today about the recent AFF Suzuki match occurrence between Malaysia and Vietnam. Not only those, many of my other friends who don’t know Helmi Eliza personally made the same idiotic-like remarks on my voice line and sms box. Though that I wasn’t watching that very match, listening and reading to those remarks are just enough to keep me holding a knuckle readying to punch at something.

Like seriously, Harian Metro uses the word ‘bodoh’, whilst Berita Harian passing the word ‘budak sekolah’ to him. Clearly the journalists are treating their penises as the main thinking mechanism. A journalist supposed to be reporting clearly on what’s happening, not passing judgments based on limited intellectual capacity. A journalist reports based on interviews and observations, PERIOD. It’s a clear cut etiquette. The rest of those useless emotional attributes, keep it to yourself. No one is interested to know what you think. Readers are only interested in what you saw and learned, not some futile emotional judgment. It’s a cheap trick exploiting an opening to journalism stardom.

Many individuals through forums and comment boxes in the Internet use the word ‘bangang’. Generally, everyone questioned about him being the best goalkeeper in Malaysia. I think that is just plain moronic.

Mohd Helmi Eliza Elias

Statistically, the one who questioned about his credibility stands out from those who just happened to watch football without understanding the in depth technical aspects of it. Just because he miss-calculated the ball movement and failed to recompose his, doesn’t render him as being a total failure. Same goes to you who goes to work not-that-early-in-the-morning but spend most of your morning in coffee shops ‘missing’ approximately half-a-day of your working hours talking about Helmi Eliza’s blunder – don’t you think you’re worse than him? Helmi did his blunder once in a blue moon, YOU do more-than-normal-breakfast-time blunder every damn day. Well if you think that Helmi supposed to be cast away from the national team just because of that, then I believe YOU CAN GO TO HELL.

And YOU, you who pass judgments that he has ‘memalukan negara’, well HELLO? How about YOU who has been having sex feely on the streets, doesn’t that ‘memalukan negara’? How about YOU who has been rempitings on the national roads, doesn’t that ‘memalukan negara’? How about YOU who has been working with the government whilst practicing ‘rasuah’, doesn’t that ‘memalukan negara’?

To those whoever thinks that Helmi is stupid at what he’s doing, then I suggest you do something about it. It is simple, you don’t like it, you do something about it. You don’t go around and talk that you don’t like this and not happy about that to the whole world and not doing anything about it. So, what exactly can YOU actually do?

The simplest of all, is go to FAM and offer yourself as a replacement for Helmi. Either that, or YOU can shut the **** up already.

I’m truly sorry if somebody felt the pinch over my last entry, though I was actually casting the words in general. It is just that things got by, and I was at my limit, and there was the time that I felt the need to pen it down as something to be noted at large. We human needed to reminded from time to time though we may feel uncomfortable being reminded because our inner ego.

Raya Eve 2007 Photoshoot

I’m not scribing what I’ve scribed earlier to state I’m revoking my hands from helping my friends nor that I have the intention of ending my relationship with anyone. I was merely yearning to taste just a bit of signs of appreciation and support on top of what I’m doing. It means a lot to me getting to be appreciated from the people close to me instead of getting bombarded with insults and blasphemy.

Aidil Fitri 2007 - The Huge Family

I know I’m no angel. I just like to write to keep me reminded. If the writing was to be read by at large, it’ll be useful for others as fruitful thoughts.

I’m sorry that I had to write
Given choices I’ve got to decide
I’m sorry you’re not happy
I’m sorry it all starts from me
I’m sorry I’m not good enough
I’m sorry it became so tough
I’m sorry I’ve done all wrong
I’m sorry I can’t please you along
I’m sorry I don’t earn that much
Can’t afford things and all of such
I’m sorry I’m a load to you
I swear I’d retract only if I knew
I’m sorry if you’re still angry
It’s natural I’m asking an apology

I would like to wish all readers Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri. Maaf Zahir & Batin :D

PS:Just a note. These pictures were from last year’s Hari Raya Aidil Fitri :-)
