The Kedah’s primera team won the match at 4-2. This would be the first season appearance (though it’s friendly) for Ahmad Fauzi Saari (Pak Long). I’ve been understood that this exercise is still a streamlining exercise for the Piala Emas Raja-Raja team while they’re still in the midst of shaping up for the competition.

You shall see some new faces in the Super League team in these set of images. They’ve been brought up from the Reserve Team. Enjoy the entry :-)

No doubt that Selangor is now the new Malaysian Super League 2010 champion. Congratulations are definitely in order for the team. Last night’s match between Kedah and Selangor however has been secured by Kedah through both Mohd Faizal Abu Bakar and Baddrol Bakhtiar finalizing the fixture at 2-0.

It shall be a long holiday for the Malaysian football season giving way to the holy month of Ramadhan.

Man of the match goes to Baddrol Bakhtiar for his astounding performance. Congratulations to Baddrol. To the rest of you. Happy Ramadhan .. and enjoy flipping through … :-)

I don’t really go out shooting while it was raining, hence the fever … So don’t really expect lotsa images. There’s nothing to write further except the field has turned into one muddy fun fair.

Enjoy flipping.

I wasn’t really in the pink of health when attending the match, so as I’m updating this entry. The fever that I’m having runs for about 3 days now. Please pray for my speedy recovery :( … Okay now, enough about my illness … *sigh*.

The match with Pahang was finalized with the result of 3-0. Shakir Ali, Khyril Muhymeen and Thirumurugan are the goal contributors, respectively.

As it’s a rainy season nowadays, expect dots of insects in the photos. Enjoy flipping!

Both the FAM and State Football Association (SFA) should be organizationally structured and financially liquidated. People who’re involved in any organization should be willing to work hard finding ways to improve the said organization from time to time. Bukan setakat to fill in a seat or two and then do nothing about it. If one was to sit a seat, then expect things to run silky smooth before his very eyes, I can instead place my well behaved cat on that very seat – sama jaa .. takyah buat apa .. duduk diam2 ja tak gaduh nak buat apa .. tunggu masa miau lah mintak makan … or at least to get attention ..

It is now a fashion to be in a football association to be appreciated by the many admiring eyes. However, do not be fooled. Those admiring eyes are ready to scrutinize and screw you up and down your every little movement if even one of your steps is faulty.

Still remember a number of non-paying-salary episodes with Perak and Penang in 2008? How about the current struggle with Perlis? I still remember that Steve Darby has got to fork out his very own money to pay his players from month to month just to grasp some fighting spirit left with them for the remaining matches. Why? Why would the SFA not being responsible enough to adhere to such simple guideline as how to manage a professional football institution? I would rather suggest those personnel from such problematic SFAs refrain from busily sticking their noses into competing for the seats at FAM. If you have problem in your own backyard, what makes you think you could help to improve Malaysia’s primera football body?

Until those high up in the hierarchy understand that football is no longer a mere game, but now an industry, football in Malaysia will be as football in Malaysia as it is. The economics of football is very simple. You have a commanding population, seed patriotism among them; in return they’d pour in their support for you. How to get their support? Show them what they belong to. Show them their ultimate warriors that will be fighting for the very soil they come from and battle their hearts out for them.

But no, it didn’t turn out that way, not even slightly. When the FA Cup Finale 2010 between Negeri Sembilan and Kedah was held the other day, most of the FAM personnel are busy attending to the VIPs. The VIPs that are not necessarily into football nor they’ve contributed much to the industry. They’re there for just being there. While they’re handsomely greeted by FAM ushers, there were waves of crowd who came so far from the places we’ve not heard about just to support their beloved team. They paid RM20 each for entrance. RM1 for a drink, RM3 for a burger. Or course, nothing comes close to what the VIPs are enjoying in the VIP Lounge, yet they don’t even fork out a single cent.

When it comes to some light entertainment before kickoff, only the VIPs can enjoy it. Why? Because all the audio/visual devices that has put into place is directed to the VIP stand. So the dumb fan don’t even get the slightest idea what’s the entertainment all about. If you wanna put up a number or two, in such a place, dance the whole damn stadium. Have you not watch how recent World Cup was organized? There were pretty ladies dancing for everyone’s eye. They dance gracefully entertaining the whole stadium, not only to the damn VIP stand.

Enough is enough already, whoever get to the seats are to make sure Malaysia is to be somewhere and be somewhere fast. It’s time to change that rotting constitution. Open criticism must be allowed to catapult the organization into a better future. Why should you be afraid of criticism if you’re honest in whatever you’re doing? I cannot imagine those in FAM being honest, like really HONEST. Politicians in a sports based institution? Come on! Most of them are there for the sake of themselves. Everybody knows this and yet for them, it’s still delicious to lick the hairy balls of aristocracy.

Still remember Dato’ Ahmad Basri Akil? He did more for nation’s football than one would ever know. He was banned by the so called FAM committee for criticizing. Soon after, he had to die for our nation’s football dream to live.
