On my first day arriving Saudi Arabia for umrah via Jeddah, then on a bus to Madinah, I took a short tour around Masjidil Nabawi after performing my first Subuh prayer in the Haram. This what I came up with.

Don’t expect it to be too appropriate, hence I didn’t bring my tripod along. You need to have Quicktime installed in order to view 360 degree view of the facade of Masjidil Nabawi. Enjoy the view!

I shall be leaving for the city of Makkah to perform umrah this coming September. I will try my best to bring stories, news and images from the holy city from time to time.

Indeed I will be celebrating Eid ul Fitr in the Haram this season. I would like to sincerely apologize for my wrong doings over the past living years in all my scribing, writing, blogging. I am hoping that this will be the best Ramadhan/Syawal for each and every of us bettering the years before. Please, spare me no ill will for none that I have ever spared to any one of you. InsyaAllah.

PS: the picture was taken at Masjid Albukhary by Eman. Lighted by Ed. It’s a simple 1 light (SB800) with attached brolly from above of subject (which is obviously me)

Welcoming Ramadhan 1431, I threw visits to these 3 Masjids in my hometown, Alor Setar, Kedah, Malaysia.

Technically, it is made from 8,925 images. Per frame is made of 5 bracketed HDR shots with +-1.0 exposure jump. Processing of each and every frame, editing and rendering took approximately 3 days altogether. I hope you like it. Jazakallah :-)

Only a while ago, I attended the “kenduri akikah”, Shafizan aka Pelam put up to celebrate his little baby girl named Nur Qistina bt Shafizan in Jitra. It was a small kenduri for family and friends.

We’ve been invited to attend the kenduri after our Friday prayer in the afternoon.

To Pelam and wife … Congratulations :-)

Recently, I directed a music video by a local band, VistaByLuna. The time given was so little that it needed to be completed urgently. Happily however, I managed to finalized the video (from shooting to rendering) within less than 48 hours. It’s a straight forward video, no fancy editing whatsoever. No color correction, no clever motion graphics, no flowery animation … zilch!

I uploaded this video quite a while ago to youtube. Only now I just happen to remember to share it via this blog. I know it’s not fair to say this .. but enjoy :-)
