It was another glorious event for Helmi and Shima. Following their previous female side reception in Baling, the male side wasn’t any less splendorous. Family, friends and fans came from all over Kedah to perceive themselves the very celebration.

Helmi & Shima - Reception in Alor Star

Also present were the Kedah football team together with the coaches. The chief minister came then after to the kenduri. As my previous entry, I rather let the images speak for themselves :-)

Rather, after all enjoying, leave a comment if so you’re appreciating this entry.

According the blog statistics, many have been hitting this blogsite for the whole day, speculatively waiting for this very entry. Many people turned up in Baling today to witness themselves the historic event, Shima’s house was practically packed with humans turning out from no where. However, the occasion went smoothly though that it was a bit of a challenge for me to cover the solemnization ritual in the morning. Fortunately for me, Kalai (flickr.com/suhaimisalleh) came to helped out with the coverage.

Wedding Reception of Helmi Eliza & Shima

A number of media representatives turned up to the solemnization ceremony as well, though I wasn’t quite happy with some of them photographers failing to respect my responsibility covering the event photographically by zapping out of no where giving orders to both Helmi and Shima and putting aside photography ethics selfishly. To whomever the media representatives, you know who you are. I know you’re trying to accomplish your job timely and all, but doing such by zapping in without being invited is definitely rude. Ethically, let me finish with my routine and I’ll definitely let you have your time then after.

Frankly speaking, I’m too exhausted to summarize the event for the day. Perhaps these pictures would sum it up on its own. To Helmi and Shima, both of you were such sports. Coming to this point is such an achievement for both of you and congratulations are definitely in order.

The previous KFA event in Sik was a successful one. The event managed to gather thousands of Sik people, young and old, near and far, attending to see their beloved local football idol.

Jelajah 3 Piala Ke Sik

There was a friendly match being setup between Kedah and Sik’s football team which rendered a result of 3-1. Congratulations to both teams :-)

The above video is about Nelson Marcelo San Martin Arriagada when he was playing for Kedah FA. Nelson and the team managed to secure 3 premier cups, namely the Super League, the FA League and the Malaysian League in 2 consecutive years. He’s been dubbed as the best assist Kedah has ever had. Unfortunately, FAM (Football Association of Malaysia) made a move to prohibit import players for the upcoming season of 2009. Thanx to Hazriq, I managed to broadcast this video reaching to the many Nelson’s fanatics out there.

Please do leave a comment or two if so that you enjoyed the entry :-)

This is one of my project to produce a video for Kedah Football Association. This is one of many clips I’m uploading to share with everyone on the net, hence it can be browsed at my blog.

This is done with Nikon D300. Composed in Adobe After Effects CS4. I would like to thank my brother Nasfi and Firdaus (http://www.firdausradzi.com) for giving some pointers on how to dwell with AE to finally post it up here.

So, I was the official photographer for that day. I’m not gonna be reporting much on this. However for the statistics, I’m stating this; there were 194 participants, divided into 2 courses, east and west. And get this, 196 prizes were prepared for the tournament. So it’s like you don’t have to be really good at golf in order to earn a prize at the tournament :-)

16th North Malaysia Port Users Golf Tournament 2008

It was a tiring day. As a matter of fact, the tournament day was just a day after Kedah VS Brazil. I didn’t get much sleep on that very day either, so naturally, I was very exhausted when the tournament ended.

Oh well, enjoy the photos, and leave some comments. Thanx!
