Kedah managed to claim victory at tonight’s match with Terengganu at 3-0. It kicked off with quite a fast tempo by both teams. The 3 goals were scored by Faizal, Khyril then Faizal again. Not much scene with any of the referees this time though.

At the press conference, Ken Worden noted the journalists that many of his favorite players were not put into the field because of injuries. He is currently struggling to put the team back to shape and at the same time wrestling with travelling time between one place to another whilst at the same instance grappling to coach. What I could summarize from all that is, Malaysian football needs a grace period (decent and agreeable from both medical and moral point of view) between each match for recovery as Kedah is also battling with the same set of struggle.

Maybe someone could correct me if I’m wrong. After all, I’m only an observer when it comes to football, let alone a commentator.

Update: mnfrs has uploaded a serie of clips from the match in youtube. I don’t know mnfrs in anyway, but I’d like to thank him for such an effort :-)

I guess everyone has already know about Kedah can’t persue further for the FA Cup. Well, there’s always next year, hopefully. I went to pick up some of the boys, fetching back to their homes yesterday soon after their arrival from KL, only to find themselves frustrated (naturally) over the result. I can only hope the frustrations don’t prolong that much, hence more matches are coming into their way. Time to buck up and strive harder in the future.

Mohd Faizal Abu Bakar

As the title says, it’s a blatant update. The above image is a composite composition of Mohd Faizal Abu Bakar, wearing the jersey number 24. Originally, I wanted to use the image for an article for KFA’s website. Unfortunately, things turned out not to go into my way. So naturally, I could release it here. You could even use it as a wallpaper since the resolution is a bit higher than most of the previous images I’ve posted up in the blog.

It was a draw at 1-1. MyTeam’s goal in the earlier half managed to put the stadium into its silent mode till Baddrol Bakhtiar made the very score for Kedah in the 2nd half at the 78th minute. The spirit of the many Kedahans in that very stadium soared to no end with that single goal. It was my first time having such a feeling of relieve as only then I understood why they call football as being an emotional sports.

I believe, Kedah should get a penalty kick following an episode in the MyTeam’s D-box. Maybe some readers could review a sequence (not in a single picture like I did before though) I’ve put up in the gallery and explain whether it should be a penalty or not.

Many of the fans would recognize Bunyamin Umar (used to play for Kedah, scored one of the goals in Malaysian Cup 2007) which entered the field in the 2nd half. However, I managed not to see him after that game as they need to pack and head straight back to KL.

A friend of mine, Shauqi sent me a youtube link, only to find this video down here. I am totally bedazzled with her ability to remember those words and how truely they reflected my life when I was a little kid.

Have you recalled your childhood?

Kedah won 2-1 against Kuala Muda Naza tonight. As far as my observation goes, the match was somewhat smeared with unwelcome abrasive and rough episodes (see closely at the pictures). Quite a number of the players left the stadium with bruises on their bodies. Regardless of all that, Kedah made the victory for themselves.

Khyril Muhymeen and Baddrol Bakhtiar made the 2 scores. I’d like to make a note that more people started to crowd the stadium at tonight’s show :D Thank you very much for those who turned up. To those who didn’t, you don’t know what you’re missing.

On another note, I made some sequence shots. Allow some loading time to enjoy the sequence. Trust me, it’s worth it :-)
