Right, so everybody knows about Kedah’s defeat in the finale of Piala Emas Raja-Raja awhile ago to Perlis. Do they (Perlis) deserve to win? I’d say 50-50. Today’s referee came by with deaf ears and blind eyes. There’re so many faults he made not to see and so many shouts he managed not to hear. And what more that he needed to be counseled extensively in order to fly cards at players. Never in the history of Darulaman Stadium that I saw such rage and anger from the whole of all spectators.

The 2nd half was then full of award winner actors as Perlis was leading at 2 to nil. At any one point, there’re 3 injuries in within less than a minute. Forget TV3′s Anugerah Skrin. These are the qualities that the American’s Emmy is searching for. It was so real that the physicist was making a run into the field to each and every injury made.

Okay fine. I’ll stop nagging already. Don’t forget to leave comments ya. Enjoy the pictures :-)

I’ve been called up to do a group portraiture for Kedah’s team of Piala Emas Raja-Raja early this evening. Knowing that I don’t do much (at all perhaps) of any of its matches before that, I decided to do a portraiture session of each and every player as well.

As it was a cloudy day, I was wrestling with time, hence the availability of light. So don’t expect much from the portraits being well lit.

Soon after, at 2045, the team was scheduled to have a match with Singapore, a semi final as well as the 2nd leg match after a draw at 1-1 in Singapore. I’m happy to report that though this is somewhat a 2nd class tournament in Malaysia, there’re many turn-ups filling the venue, Stadium Darul Aman, approximately half of the available seats.

Kedah managed to secure victory at 2-1, defeating Singapore’s away game. Both goals were contributed by Mohd Faizal Abu Bakar at the following minutes – 28 & 82.

For the total report of the match, please visit PBMK (Persatuan Bolasepak Melayu Kedah) website at pbmkedah.blogspot.com. Come the 28th of December, the finale of Piala Emas Raja-Raja shall be accommodated by Kedah’s very own Stadium Darul Aman. The showdown will see Kedah going head to head with the northern lion, Perlis.

Shafrizal is a very good friend of mine. I’ve been knowing him ever since our childhood years. We’ve been to the same tuitions together, same highschool together until we broke our path to different boarding schools. He ended his bachelorship recently with Dima, an educator by career and originating from Terengganu.

To Shaf and Dima, till death do you both part :-)

Dec 10

A lot of requests came into my mailbox, my chatbox, my social network accounts (myspace, facebook) recently to cover this friendly match with Perlis. It was the first inter-state friendly match for the season of 2010.

The match saw where Kedah’s previous striker, Azrul Ahmad went – Perlis. It would be a bit awkward to see him in Perlis’s jersey to some, I reckon. On Kedah’s side however, the new faces are Muhamad Zamri Chin, Azlan Ismail, Mohd Azmi Muslim and Shahril Faizal Ahmad Shariffuddin.

Kedah won the friendly at 2-1. Enjoy the entry :-)

It’s no secret that my elder sister, Nadiah has now remarried to a new guy of her life. Her previous marriage didn’t maintain well. Happily however, there’s Muhammad Daniel Scott Bonnin, filling her empty life recently. Daniel, is an American serving the navy and currently based in Honolulu, Hawaii.

I’m not to elaborate further about what’s what and let the pictures tell the story.

To Kakak and Daniel, may death do you both part, insyaAllah :-)
